Poker God

Reckon you’re at the top of your game? Then prove it, in our exclusive $40,000 Poker God Freeroll Championship

Mansion Poker God
Want to be our Poker God? Don't delay, register today at: www.mansionpoker.com using referral code EDGE

Sunday is now officially Poker God night! Every week, from now until January, you will have an exclusive shot at a guaranteed minimum $40,000 worth of prizes, including great odds on a $10,000 seat in next year’s Big One. And all for free. Gratis. That’s right, it’ll cost you absolutely nothing to enter.

We’ve teamed up with MANSIONPOKER.com to launch the Poker God Freeroll Championship for InsideEdge readers. Comprising a series of online MTT freerolls, the championship will culminate in a live Grand Final at an exclusive venue to decide who will be our Poker God and walk away with a $12,000 package to play in the 2007 World Series of Poker main event in Vegas.

You could be in the money, whether you play just once or in every single one of the heats. Here’s how it works. The best nine players will take a slice of a guaranteed $1,000 of cash prizes in every freeroll, but – even better – all players will rack up points towards a spot in the Grand Final. With 36 final seats at stake, one big win or a few decent performances could be enough to book your place, or you could improve your chances by playing as many freerolls as possible.

So what’s stopping you? Well, you’ll have to get past InsideEdge’s own team for starters. We’re going to make you work hard for these amazing prizes, so each week one of us will be at the tables with you. Don’t panic, we’re not there to win anything, nor will we be fielding our most illustrious contributors like Annie Duke, Willie Tann or Julian Gardner. Instead, we’ll be drawing from our team of permanent Edgers. However, it’s only fair to point out that this magazine has already produced prodigiously talented players, not least Roland de Wolfe, who came third at this year’s World Championship for $1,025,205, and Warren Wooldridge, also third in July’s WSOP $1,500 limit hold’em for $76,549.

Still fancy your chances? Then sign up to be InsideEdge’s Poker God and we’ll see you at the Grand Final in January.
