A regular in poker's biggest games, Eli's defining moment came in 2004 when he won the Mirage Poker Showdown WPT for over a million dollars. Aside from a bracelet win in 2007, he has enjoyed various other cashes and has become a permanent fixture on acclaimed TV show High Stakes Poker.

Armed with a loose aggressive style and a genuine love of the game, Eli has delighted audiences with his bubbly personality and constant banter with table nemesis Sammy 'Raisy Daisy' Farha, a clash that has surely helped develop his game ten-fold.

Originally from Jerusalem, Eli was a member of the Israeli army until injury forced him onto the sidelines, a blow which inadvertently prodded him towards the game of poker.
