Weekend Review

A strong weekend for the bankroll as England got thumped in the rugby, and struggled in the cricket

So now the dust from the weekend has settled and all the lurid allegations come out about the England rugby players and Ronaldo's weasly move to Real Madrid, how are the accounts?

Saturday started with rugby. England were absolutley thumped. Yippee and it was from the very start so our bet of New Zealand half-time and full-time was a walkin at 1/5 and started our day off very nicely.

Italy v South Africa we avoided - too many imponderables to wager our hard earned on.

The cricket then dominated the day as New Zealand completed a tight but well deserved victory. Our basic plan of laying England at 1.5 because they are too low is working superbly and but for a stupid umpiring cock-up in the previous game we would be well ahead with New Zealand 2-1.

Anyway - we have won one and lost one with one aboandoned which leaves us in good profit because of the huge discrepancy in price between the sides.

Then on Sunday Northants beat Glamorgan in the Twenty20 as was recommended.

So all in all, a rather decent weekend and one we should have all enjoyed as the money rolled in.

This week there is more cricket and the start of the Tri-Nations rugby so I shall post more and do a preview of the rugby later in the week.
