Apparently poker and hip hop are a perfect fit, indeed one of the Wu-Tang, Ghostface, has opened his own online poker site, and raps about the game on his latest album.

I'm also reliably informed that there are sit-and-go's aplenty in the locker rooms at Wimbledon, as frustrated players while away the hours lost to the rain.

Rugby player Mike Tindall has had some recent success in televised poker, and indeed cashed at a recent GBPT, what's the betting he's taken a chipset out to the England World Cup training camp in Portugal?

So that's music and sport covered. Next we'll hear that Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling and the other members of the new goverment enjoy a quick cashie after cabinet meetings around that massive table. Or Liz and Phil take on their footmen at the Palace when official duties are finished for the day.

Poker, it seems, is continuing to take over the world, and the world is a better place for it.
